Faculty Fellows

One of our core values in supporting faculty success in CTLE is to center the voices of faculty. We know that being faculty-centered is intertwined with student-centered practice. Fortunately, we often have the opportunity to welcome faculty fellows to our team for one semester or the full academic year. Previous CTLE and Faculty Success fellows have facilitated workshops, hosted FLCs, and developed new initiatives on a variety of topics:

  • Inclusive teaching practices
  • Faculty writing and scholarship support
  • Common myths about student learning
  • Active learning in large first-year courses
  • Term faculty career goals
  • Getting the most out of peer mentoring
  • Evidence-based teaching excellence
  • Race and gender in the classroom
